Job PurposeGOAL is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Receptionist to manage the reception desk at our Head Office in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an international NGO dedicated to delivering humanitarian programmes that transform lives around the world. As the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and stakeholders, you will play a critical role in representing GOAL’s values and professionalism. We're looking for candidates with a;warm and professional demeanour, strong multitasking abilities, and exceptional attention to detail.;
**Given the nature of this role, candidates must be available onsite at our offices in Dun Laoghaire, 5 days week (Monday -Friday 9am - 530pm)**
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and staff upon arrival, creating a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Answer incoming calls and manage the front door.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including courier services (FedEx, DHL, etc.).
- Coordinate meeting room setups and ensure all equipment is available and functioning.
- Organise refreshments (tea, coffee, lunches) for internal meetings as required.
- Arrange external meeting venues and manage associated logistics.
- Order office supplies and coordinate related payments.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Office of the CEO.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluent written and spoken English.
- Professional, courteous, and proactive with a “can-do” attitude.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Genuine interest in the humanitarian and international development sector.
