GOAL USA is honored to be an official charity partner of the New York Roadrunners for this year’s historic running of the New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 1, 2026. It’s the 50th anniversary of the race’s first running through all five boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan. To mark the occasion the New York Roadrunners are committing with their charity partners to raise a record total of $100 Million this year.
This is your opportunity to make history, take part in one of the world’s great athletic events, cross the legendary finish line in Central Park, all while providing essential support to GOAL USA’s global fight against poverty, hunger, and vulnerability. It will truly be the accomplishment of a lifetime and we look forward to being with you every step of the way.
As a member of Team GOAL USA, you’ll receive:
- A coveted slot in the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon on Sunday November 1st
- Ongoing fundraising and logistical assistance, moral support, and fandom from the GOAL USA team
- Personalized fundraising web page and donation processing
- Access to firsthand information about GOAL’s work across the globe, and the people and communities your efforts will touch

You’ll commit to:
- Raising a minimum of $10,000 by race day, November 1, 2026. All runners will be required to sign a fundraising agreement that acknowledges the fundraising requirement and deadline. Know that your trust and hard work will directly help change and save lives.
- Becoming part of a local and global community of passionate and active supporters who participate in the GOAL Mile, the Great Ethiopian Run. Welcome!
